One thing I do know is that the Centre has been going flat out!! What a time we have had in first term. It started with...
- A visit from Michael Coutts-Trotter (Director-General of Education - NSW Dept. of Education and Training)
- A visit from our local Federal member of Parliament, Maxine McKew. Both visits were amazing.
- Moodle Users group meeting.
- Get Active in the Middle Years Conference.
- Northern Sydney Primary Principals' workshop.
- After-school video conferences run by Mitch.
- Accreditation with the NSW Institute of Teachers.
- Thinking Globally, Delivering Locally: a series of 36 video conferencing seminars.
- Marg's retirement.
- Board of Directors meeting: very inspiring with the promise of an exciting new era.
- A visit from educators from the Ministry of Kuwait.
- Emints training in Dubbo: cut short and interrupted unfortunately.
- Edna mini-conference workshops.
- Local Ecostudy Project 2009: so many schools re-signing and so many new schools interested!
- New approach to staff professional learning.
- New projects.
- More courses/workshops.
Is anyone exhausted??
One thing is for sure...next term is going to be very exciting. It will mark the development of some new strategies determined by a review of Centre processes.
