It's April and time to reflect.

It is now April and time to reflect on 2009 so far.
One thing I do know is that the Centre has been going flat out!! What a time we have had in first term. It started with...
  1. A visit from Michael Coutts-Trotter (Director-General of Education - NSW Dept. of Education and Training)
  2. A visit from our local Federal member of Parliament, Maxine McKew. Both visits were amazing.
  3. Moodle Users group meeting.
  4. Get Active in the Middle Years Conference.
  5. Northern Sydney Primary Principals' workshop.
  6. After-school video conferences run by Mitch.
  7. Accreditation with the NSW Institute of Teachers.
  8. Thinking Globally, Delivering Locally: a series of 36 video conferencing seminars.
  9. Marg's retirement.
  10. Board of Directors meeting: very inspiring with the promise of an exciting new era.
  11. A visit from educators from the Ministry of Kuwait.
  12. Emints training in Dubbo: cut short and interrupted unfortunately.
  13. Edna mini-conference workshops.
  14. Local Ecostudy Project 2009: so many schools re-signing and so many new schools interested!
  15. New approach to staff professional learning.
  16. New projects.
  17. More courses/workshops.
Another thing I know is that when an important person or event is being organised, everyone steps up to the mark. I have been SO impressed with our Centre staff as well the teachers and students visiting. The quality of work being developed at the Centre is awesome!

Is anyone exhausted??

One thing is for sure...next term is going to be very exciting. It will mark the development of some new strategies determined by a review of Centre processes.
